The Lego Star Wars Death Star is a replica of the Death Star from the Star Wars movie series. This
replica features the multiple decks, control room and all the other rooms including the detention block,
turbo-blasters, hangar bay, firing laser canon, and 24 mini-figures. You get the whole cast, including Luke
Skywalker, Hans Solo, Princess Leis, Chewbacca, Darth Vader and the Storm-troopers, Emperor's Royal Guards and even
the mouse droid. Lego makes all kinds of building block sets for the young and older children, so most children
have grown up with Lego toys and accessories.

Advantages:
The Lego Star Wars Death Star is recommended for those that are 12-20 years old because it has 3,803 pieces, so
it is a great project for older children and teenagers. The project can take significant time to put together and
it is a project the whole family can work on. If you want something to keep the older children occupied, be
prepared for days of reading instructions, sorting pieces and assembly. Those that are crazy about the Star Wars
movies will find the amazing detail of the battle station incredibly like the movie set of the Death Star and there
are many things that are exactly like the Star Wars movies. The figures and Death Star super laser, turbo-blaster
turrets and firing laser cannon give you the ability to have real-life Star Wars battles.
Disadvantages:
Because there are so many small pieces, the Lego Star Wars Death Star presents a choking hazard to children
under 3 years old. The other disadvantage is the price of the set, which can cost several hundred dollars. For
those that are used to paying quite a bit for the more complicated Lego building projects, this might be expected,
especially given the complexity of the Lego Star Wars Death Star, but it is the most common complaint. If you have
children that lose interest easily or they are younger than the recommended age, don't expect them to complete this
project without close parental supervision because there are some complicated parts and instructions to figure out
in certain areas, making it suitable for teenagers and young adults.
Customer Reviews:
Most of the customer reviews gave the Lego Star Wars Death Star an excellent rating and thought of it as a
lifetime experience. Even though it is very expensive, the Lego and Star War fans absolutely loved it. You might
want to prepare for hours, weeks and months of entertainment, depending on how many people are helping put it
together and the assembly skills of those doing it. Parents that bought the Lego Star Wars Death Star report that
children thought it was the best present ever, however.
Useful Tips:
You might want to shop around because you can sometimes find the Lego Star Wars Death Star at lower prices on
sale at some places. Expect to pay anywhere from three to five hundred dollars, no matter where you buy it from,
however.
